Dr. Anwar Elemiry holds a Ph.D. in Law and has been a registered lawyer with the Egyptian Bar Association since 2009. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws from Cairo University in 2008. He brings 19 years of professional legal experience, including approximately 14 years of practice and advisory experience spanning the United Arab Emirates, the GCC, the wider Middle East and the Far East.

His practice covers sophisticated commercial and civil disputes, corporate and financial matters, arbitration, investment, banking, intellectual property, employment, real estate, construction and cross-border legal work. He advises national and multinational businesses, financial institutions, manufacturers, trading companies, investors and private clients, combining dispute strategy with the drafting and negotiation of the agreements that shape commercial relationships. His work includes joint ventures, memoranda of understanding, distribution and loan agreements, shareholder arrangements, settlement instruments, corporate documents, sale and purchase agreements, construction contracts and documentation relating to cryptocurrency, digital assets and non-fungible tokens.

Dr. Elemiry has developed particular expertise in the legal and practical challenges arising from cryptocurrency, virtual assets, blockchain technology, smart contracts, financial technology and artificial intelligence. His focus extends beyond regulatory compliance to the point at which conventional laws, judicial procedures, enforcement mechanisms and contractual principles encounter decentralised technologies and new technology-driven business structures. He has handled matters involving cryptocurrency disputes, blockchain-based transactions and AI-related legal questions, helping clients navigate an area in which legal rules, technical architecture and control over assets do not always align.

His construction practice encompasses the drafting, negotiation and completion of building and civil engineering contracts, subcontracts, supply arrangements, project development agreements, consultancy appointments and tender and procurement documentation. He also advises on contentious construction matters, including contractor claims, project disputes, construction arbitration, litigation and strategic project management. Across these fields, his work is distinguished by detailed research, concise analysis and a focus on reducing exposure before it becomes irreversible loss.

Alongside his legal practice, Dr. Elemiry has pursued advanced education in technology and specialist legal disciplines. He holds a Diploma in Legal Work in Artificial Intelligence from Cambridge International Studies in the United Kingdom, completed in 2025, and a FinTech certificate from Harvard Business School completed in 2023. He is a Certified Artificial Intelligence Expert and a Certified Blockchain and Law Professional through the Blockchain Council. His further professional education includes Contract Law studies through Harvard Law School, specialist training in contract drafting, legal memoranda and dispute resolution through the Certified Law and Arbitration Academy in the United Kingdom, anti-money laundering certifications, studies in metaverse regulation and international arbitration in intellectual property disputes through Cairo University.

In 2024, Dr. Elemiry was recognised in Malaysia as one of the Top 25 Rising Lawyers. He also serves as a private legal consultant and business adviser to private offices serving Sheikhs and members of ruling families in the United Arab Emirates, advising on legal, business and strategic matters connected with sophisticated private and institutional interests. These engagements reflect a level of professional trust, discretion and judgment that also defines his approach to every client relationship.

His advisory practice also includes confidential counsel to prominent international public figures and professionals within the global entertainment and Hollywood community.

His international reach is reinforced by strategic relationships with law firms operating in Beijing, Shanghai, the Philippines, Jordan, Lebanon, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, India, Bahrain, Qatar and Turkey. This network enables him to coordinate legal strategy across jurisdictions while remaining personally engaged in the substance of each matter. He has prepared legal briefs, developed litigation strategy and appeared in matters involving multinational clients before courts at all levels in Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, as well as defending, pursuing and supporting arbitration proceedings within the UAE.

Dr. Elemiry carries forward the professional legacy of Elemiry Advocates and Legal Consultants, founded by his father, Nabil Elemiry, in Egypt in 1983 and developed through offices in Cairo, Port Said and Alexandria. White Collar Legal Consultancy is the modern extension of that heritage: a practice built on established legal judgment, strengthened by international experience and deliberately focused on the emerging technologies transforming commerce, evidence, ownership and enforcement.

Nabil Elemiry, Partner and Senior Consultant, and founder of Elemiry Advocates and Legal Consultants

PARTNER & SENIOR CONSULTANT · ADVOCATE BEFORE THE COURT OF CASSATION

Nabil
Elemiry

Nabil Elemiry is Partner and Senior Consultant at White Collar Legal Consultancy and the founder of Elemiry Advocates and Legal Consultants, established in Egypt in 1983.

As an Advocate before the Court of Cassation, he has devoted more than four decades to legal practice, complex case strategy and written and oral advocacy. He built the Egyptian practice through sustained professional work in Cairo, Port Said and Alexandria, developing a reputation for disciplined legal reasoning, careful preparation of pleadings and memoranda, and a direct understanding of the practical realities that shape litigation at every level.

Throughout his career, Nabil Elemiry has acted as legal counsel to some of the largest international and multinational companies operating in Egypt. His work on substantial and sensitive matters earned him wide recognition within the Egyptian legal market and the confidence of corporate and private clients who required both technical accuracy and absolute discretion. The firm does not publish confidential client identities without authority.

His contribution extends beyond individual files. He has guided generations of lawyers in the preparation of cases, the testing of evidence, the construction of legal argument and the professional duties owed to clients and the administration of justice. Within White Collar, he remains a deep legal reference whose judgment strengthens the firm’s approach to difficult questions, particularly where long courtroom experience and strategic restraint are decisive.

White Collar Legal Consultancy carries this legacy forward as a distinct modern practice. Nabil Elemiry did not found White Collar; his present role as Partner and Senior Consultant connects the standards of the practice he established in 1983 with a contemporary firm working across international disputes, business, technology and digital assets.

“A legal tradition carried forward through judgment, integrity and responsibility.”

PROFESSIONAL APPROACH

Clarity first.

His work is equally informed by a commitment to strong client relationships. Clear communication, personal accountability and a realistic assessment of risk are treated as essential parts of legal representation, particularly where the matter is sensitive, technically complex or capable of affecting a client across multiple jurisdictions.
